Vishal Hanumant Jadkar - Coordinator-Community Enterprise

Vishal Jadkar is a dynamic professional with over four years of experience at the intersection of agriculture, agri-tech, and community-led development. With a strong foundation in agricultural sciences from Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, he brings a unique blend of grassroots insight and strategic execution to his work.

Currently, at the IoFE, Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB, Vishal leads key interventions that majorly focus on designing and implementing women-led community enterprise models across India. His work spans the development of seasonal forest product supply chains and fostering multi-stakeholder collaborations to build sustainable, locally governed rural enterprises.

Prior to this, Vishal played a pivotal role at FarMart, a Series B agri-tech startup, where he worked directly from the CEO’s office as Manager – Special Projects. He led the flagship Farm Pragathi initiative, forging partnerships with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to empower women farmers. His earlier role as Market Research Associate helped FarMart scale its operations from 3 to 9 states, exemplifying his deep operational acumen and market foresight.

Vishal also served as Produce Channel Lead at subjimandi.app, a 0-1 stage agritech startup, where he led procurement, conducted commodity research, and expanded fresh produce operations across new geographies, delivering significant impact in the Fruits & Vegetables (FnV) segment.

Driven by a deep passion for grassroots engagement, Vishal thrives in working closely with rural communities to co-create scalable, context-driven solutions that drive inclusive growth in India's agri and forest-based economies.
