Naina Shukla- Research Associate

Naina Shukla, a dynamic individual with a B.A. (Hons) in History from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, and a distinguished academic record, further pursued a master’s degree in public policy. Her academic journey is marked by a passion for research, culminating in a published study on decentralized healthcare in rural India during the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing her commitment to impactful social advocacy.

Before joining the IoFE, Naina’s curiosity and dedication to understanding societal dynamics led her through various internships, including policy benchmarking with Invest India and aiding sociological research at the Indian Institute of Management Indore. Her tenure as a Research Assistant at the London School of Economics and Political Science involved an in-depth review of internal migration policies in India, demonstrating her analytical prowess and attention to detail.

Naina has held positions of responsibility, including President of the Department of History Student Union at Lady Shri Ram College, reflecting her leadership skills and ability to foster academic community engagement. Outside her professional realm, Naina is deeply engaged in social advocacy, contributing significantly to nonprofit organizations focused on slum development and education.
