Malati Soren- Field Assistant

Malati Soren has been associated with the Indian School of Business (ISB) for the past two years, beginning her journey as an intern where she gained initial exposure to field-based activities. Through continuous training and hands-on experience, she has developed strong skills in community engagement and grassroots-level implementation. She has actively worked with forest-dependent communities, contributing to forest visits, tree inventory, and mapping activities, which have strengthened her understanding of environmental management and community livelihoods. Malati has also gained practical experience with Producer Companies, supporting their operations, aggregation processes, and grassroots business activities. Currently working as a Field Assistant, she supports six Producer Companies at the district level, assisting in field operations, coordinating with community members, and facilitating the smooth functioning of their activities.
