Gunwant Patil is a seasoned development professional with over a decade of experience in rural development, watershed management, and sustainable livelihoods. His work has created measurable impact across Maharashtra, particularly in tribal regions, where he has successfully led large-scale water conservation and community mobilization initiatives.

Currently associated with the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, Gunwant is contributing to forest-based economic development in the Satpuda region, focusing on strengthening local livelihoods and nurturing grassroots entrepreneurship.

He has led watershed interventions in 75+ villages, mobilised 150+ farmer groups, and worked closely with government systems to converge schemes for sustainable impact. Known for his strong leadership and community connect, he has trained hundreds of farmers and youth, blending field experience with innovative training approaches.
