Chumki Behera- Cluster Coordinator

Chumki has dedicated her career to championing women's issues, working tirelessly as a volunteer with various NGOs focused on women's education and the prevention of violence against women. Her commitment to social change has led her to collaborate with self-help groups, amplifying their impact on women's empowerment before her move to Malkangiri. A key aspect of her work has been community mobilization, helping vulnerable communities access government schemes and services.

In her role as a Coordinator, Chumki has contributed to projects across livelihood, health, and child rights, working with notable agencies such as the Odisha Tribal Empowerment & Livelihood Program (OTELP), World Vision, Tata Trusts, NACO, the State Family and Health Welfare Department, UNICEF, and Child Line. She has also served as a member of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), a judicial first-class magistrate bench under the Juvenile Justice Act 2015, where she developed care plans for abused children and passed judicial orders to the government for plan execution. Her multifaceted experience in community mobilization and her passion for advancing the rights and well-being of vulnerable communities make her a key asset to our team as a Cluster Coordinator.
