Apurva N S Duddu - Advisor
Apurva NS Duddu, with a master’s degree in Natural Resources and Governance from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, has dedicated over six years at the BIPP to the advancement of natural resources governance. Her engagement spans critical projects like the Forest Governance project and the Initiative on Forest Economy in Himachal Pradesh, as well as contributions to the International Forestry Resources and Institutions (IFRI) network.
As a co-editor of "Lakhpati Kisan: Transforming Agriculture-Based Livelihood for Smallholder Farmers in India," Apurva has also excelled in developing data-capturing modules for livelihood interventions across agriculture, livestock, and forestry, impacting approximately 80,000 households in Central India. Furthermore, she played a pivotal role in the design of systems for extracting valuable variables from satellite data under the India Data Portal project.
Apurva is currently enriching her expertise as a Ph.D. scholar at the Yale School of Environment while continuing to contribute as a consultant to our initiative. Beyond her professional pursuits, she embraces her passion for dance, exploring various forms as an avid dancer.
